About Us
A Broadway Kids Company offers children an opportunity to expand their knowledge of music, dance, acting and theater. In addition, we also offer private audition prep, on-camera acting workshops and classes, etiquette classes, private music lessons, girl scout badge classes, vacation days, birthday parties, and summer workshops.
I believe children learn best in an atmosphere where they can express themselves freely. Our motto is "A place where everyone shines like a star!" If they aren't having fun while learning, then I am not doing my job!
Meet Our Teachers
Jody Nichols
Founder, Owner and Teacher

Jody attended both the University of Massachusetts and Boston Conservatory as a dance major. She has been teaching dance and acting to children, as well as adults, at various dance companies for the past 35 years. She has choreographed major productions for local theater companies such as Fiddler on the Roof, Hairspray, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, as well as local high school productions such as Grease and Anything Goes. Jody helped cast and choreograph a national commercial for Shiki Emoji wrist bands. Many of Jody’s students have been cast in local and national commercials and movies.
Jody created the Broadway Kids program 16 years ago to introduce young students to singing, acting, dance, improvisation, as well as getting them comfortable performing on stage.
Currently, A Broadway Kids Company (ABC) is in its twelfth year and offers a variety of classes for kids ranging in age from 1.5 to 21 years, with no experience necessary. At ABC students learn about music, dance, and acting, in a fun and nurturing environment. ABC is a well-rounded educational center for the arts. Along with weekly classes, we bring in guest teachers from all over New England and New York, giving students an opportunity to take classes with professional industry teachers.
Jody opened a second location of ABC in Framingham in 2020, bringing the ABC philosophy to other lucky students. Most recently, ABC has moved locations to offer a larger space for more private music students (voice and instruments), as well as opened the Allen Phillip Theatre where the ABC Players perform for in-house audiences. She produced ABC’s first production of Into the Woods, Jr. and Willy Wonka, Jr and looking forward to our current production of Shrek, Jr.
In addition, she brings the love of theatre to local school districts as part of their curriculum, and for five years, Jody has been the lead dance instructor for the Gym Momentum Gymnastics Camp, teaching dance to hundreds of gymnasts from all over the world. ABC is the proud recipient of "The Best of the Northshore" (BONS Award) by Northshore Magazine, for 'Best Kids Program'. 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024.
